Sarah Lurie
Owner/Certified Pilates Instructor

Sarah Lurie is a Pilates instructor with over 8 years' teaching experience. Sarah came to Pilates after weight lifting injured her low back. A few weeks after beginning an intense Pilates program, however, Sarah found that the core work in Pilates helped her to be more efficient and safer in her weight lifting, her running, and her general outdoor activities.
In addition to apprenticeship programs completed in 1998 and 1999, Sarah was certified in the Classical Method of Pilates in early 2005 by the internationally renowned Pilates Center Teacher Training Program in Boulder, Colorado, with over 940 apprenticeship hours. Furthermore, Sarah continues her Pilates education by studying with Cara Reeser of Pilates Aligned, located in downtown Denver.
Sarah has experience in Pregnancy and Post-Partum Pilates work, general pain alleviation, rehabilitation from injury, and general fitness. Sarah is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance, a group dedicated to maintaining high standards in the field of Pilates instruction.
Desiree Sanchez
Certified Pilates Instructor
Desiree Sanchez began her study of Pilates in 1994, and has been a client of Steve Giordano, Stephan Frease, The Pilates Center and many others.
She began teaching Pilates in 1998 and completed a rigorous and comprehensive teacher training program at The Pilates Center of Boulder Colorado in 1999, where she has been an instructor since the spring of 2000. She is well trained and experienced in teaching all Classic Pilates exercises on all pieces of Pilates equipment.
Desiree's teaching draws heavily upon her extensive study and working relationship with Amy Taylor Alpers, Rachel Taylor Segel and Debora Robinson Kolwey. She completes 15 or more hours of Pilates Continuing Education courses annually to feed her teaching and deepen her understanding of Pilates. She teaches Continuing Education courses for Pilates instructors and leads Pilates based wellness retreats, get-aways and vacations.
Melanie Isley
Certified Pilates Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer
Melanie's extensive fitness experience combines a variety of disciplines, allowing her clients to create a personalized fitness regimen. In addition to her experience as a Pilates instructor, Melanie has an extensive background in dance, cheerleading, and competitive bodybuilding.
She has worked as a personal trainer for over 9 years and Pilates instructor for over 5 years. Melanie first experienced Pilates in 1992 as part of her training in dance at Girodano Jazz Dance Chicago. She continued to use Pilates as a method of conditioning & kinesthetic education throughout her dance career.
In 2000, after relocating to Colorado, Melanie rediscovered Pilates while Personal Training at Greenwood Athletic Club and completed her Polestar Pilates Certification in 2002. In pursuit of a more classic approach to teaching, she completed the Peak Pilates Teacher Certification Program in 2006. She continues to study Pilates education under Cara Reeser of Pilates Aligned.
