Frequently Asked Questions

1

What do you offer?

“Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind, and elevates the spirit.”
– Joseph Pilates

Pilates aims at homeostasis, balance, vitality, power, and health. Pilates is breath. Pilates is life-giving. If you think you have done Pilates and your teacher just got a weekend certification... you have not done Pilates.

If you think you have done Pilates because you did PiYo at a gym...you most likely have not done Pilates. If you are bouncing between a reformer, a TRX and a Bosu in one class.... you are probably not doing Pilates…..at least not in the way that Joseph Pilates intended.

Classical Pilates takes time and patience. It may take years of practice to understand. Not only will our approach compliment your current fitness practices (Pilates or otherwise), it will inform them.

Why do you need it?
